The Gëlle Fra, or the "Golden Lady" in Luxembourgish, was designed by Claus Cito, unveiled in May 1923. The most famous statute of the Grand Duchy. The ensemble forms the memorial initially dedicated to the memory of Luxembourgish soldiers killed during the First World War, and then to those fallen during the Second World War and the Korea War.
